It is called a 'devotional', however it is in reality "All of the Best of Derek's Teachings" brought together in ONE PLACE. It is more like Daily meat and bread. Each day has a scripture and a teaching, and it could even be used as a guide for teaching, either a small group or to disciple others with. I have used it in jail ministry.

Read several years ago and am anticipating going through it again. This devotional is very powerful and effective in daily Christian living. It is a practical tool in helping to "renew the mind" and focus on God, what He did for us through His Son, Jesus, and helping us to declare who we are in Him.
